By the time this newsletter goes out, I hope to be in Ireland, on my way to Octocon (the Irish Sci Fi and Fantasy writers convention). I’ve never been to an SF/F convention before, nor have I been to Ireland, so I’m extremely excited at the idea. Not only will I get to go to Ireland for the first time ever, I get to hear new-to-me writers speak. It’s always good to hear writers who work in a different genre talk about craft. It can spark so many ideas and insights.
Since I’m in a fantasy sort of mood, I thought I’d show you how to make a portal to another dimension. I’ve always liked the idea of being able to step between worlds. I’ve checked the back wardrobes for years.
Today’s tutorial includes a handy tip on how to use add something on top of a frame without it being dragged into the frame.
