Adding you book cover to your email signature
Or how to tell people in your normal life that you've written a book
Why bother adding your book cover to your email footer? Well, because people are nosy. Once they’ve dealt with their email, they are quite likely to check out your book (or your website).
For ages, I’ve resisted the urge to include my book cover in my email signature because most email providers will see it as an attachment - it is an image file, after all - and emails with attachments tend to be a bit more vulnerable to being marked as spam.
However, I thought I should try living dangerously and am now adding them to my email signatures. I had assumed it would be a fairly easy thing to do, but it turns out that the process is slightly different depending on which email provider you’re using.
In this week’s video, I will show you how to add a picture to your email signature in Outlook, Yahoo and Gmail.

Oh, and if you’re nosy and would like to try one of my books, The Winner Bakes It All is 99p this month.
Have a lovely day. Enjoy the sunshine, if it shows up.
