Getting fancy with embossed text

or rather, faking it in Canva

Embossed text is a sign of something fancy. I’d love to have an embossed title for my books. This week I’ll be looking at how to fake the embossed text effect on images using Canva. In the process, I’ll be showing you a cool hack that lets you turn elements into images, so that you can use effects, like shadows and some of the animations that are only available for use on images.

Writing news from me - the vampire book has gone off to be beta read. I’m at the stage where I’m sick of the sight of it. I have no idea whether it’s good or bad or terrible.
