I don’t know about you, but I’ve come off most of the social media apps. I used to hang out on Twitter a lot, but then Musk bought it and make it this desolate wasteland. The people I talked to were no longer there, so I deleted the app from my phone. I still have an account there, but I only check it once a week. After trying all the other places - Bluesky, Mastodon, Substack notes etc (actually, I quite like Substack notes, it reminds me of the old days when you used to go and chat in the comments sections of blogs) … I’ve somehow ended up wasting time watching YouTube videos instead. It’s not sociable, but it’s fun.  How about you? Where do you hang out online nowadays?

If you spend any time at all on YouTube, you’ll have seen those profile pictures which are a photo with a nice white outline. That’s what we’re making today. I also show you two ways to make an outline for your text.
