Hello!
Real life is getting quite exciting. On Monday I’ll be heading down to London to go to the Romantic Novelists Association awards - my novel The Winner Bakes It All has been shortlisted for the romantic comedy award. I also get to meet my new agent for the first time. Wish me luck!
This week’s tutorial explores some of the templates that come up when you search ‘movie trailer’ in the Canva templates section. Why make stuff from scratch, when you can just amend what’s already there.
Canva has a huge library of templates. You get access to a much wider range if you have a Canva Pro subscription. A quick reminder that if you want to try Canva Pro for free for 30 days, you can do so using my link (it’s an affiliate link - it doesn’t cost you anything extra): partner.canva.com/Jeev
Here’s the link to the tutorial. There are two examples - the first is all blue lighting and darkness, so perfect for a scary book or a sci fi book; the second is light and cosy, so it’s ideal for women’s fiction or romance.

I’ll see you next week. Have fun designing.

Good luck! That's super exciting! And who is Rhoda Baxter? Oh wait, I looked it up.
Which one of your Jeevani books would you recommend? I'm just not a fan of fake romances. Ali Hazelwood ruined that trope.
Thank you, Jeevani! I was stuck on trailer ideas for a recent release and this helped a lot!
