Three ways to use gradients in Canva
Make colourful backgrounds, fades and frames or glossy shapes
Hello!
Back in the early days of Canva, I used Corel Paintshop Pro - which was clunky and harder to use, but did a lot more than Canva could at the time. Back then, if I wanted to give something a bit of texture, or use a fade of any description, I used to have to make in Paintshop Pro first and then import it into Canva to use in book covers, for example. That was, until Canva came up with their gradients feature. It’s very versatile and you can use it to create various effects.
In this video I will walk you through using gradients to make … well, gradients, obviously; frames (which I use a lot in book cover designs) and shiny textured shapes.
Enough waffling, here’s the video. Just click on the play button to watch it on YouTube.
